Low vegetation is what gives a diorama its sense of scale and life. A bare base with a figure on it looks empty, but a few bushes at the foot of a wall or along a path are enough for the viewer to see at once where the ground is, where the edge of the scene lies and where to look. Flowering growth also brings a splash of color that, on an otherwise muted military scene, pulls attention exactly where you need it.
The set brings flowering bush growth in a yellow finish, ready to be placed in a scene. It is intended for 1:35 scale and for figures 75 and 90 mm in size, so it covers military dioramas as well as larger standalone figure scenes. The exact extent of the pack and the recommended procedure are given in the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
Lay the arrangement out dry first and only then glue it. Divide the growth into irregular clumps, because equally sized mounds side by side look artificial. Place the bushes rather toward the edges and into the corners of the scene, so that they do not hide the main figure or vehicle. Dose the flowering clumps sparingly; in nature there are not as many of them as would fit on a scene. The right glue and the way to fix it are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The base, the figures, the vehicle model, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
