Aber 1:32 set of 8 turned Browning M2 .50 caliber (12.7 mm) barrels for the P-47 Thunderbolt is a metal detail accessory that replaces all eight plastic barrels of the wing armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
A metal detail accessory from the Polish firm Aber, not a model of the aircraft. The package contains eight turned metal barrels of the American Browning M2 machine gun in .50 caliber (12.7 mm) reduced to 1:32, that is, the full number of weapons the wings of the P-47 Thunderbolt fighter carried. The metal barrels replace the plastic ones and give the thick wings faithful, sharply drilled detail.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter and attack aircraft of the Second World War. In its robust wings it carried eight Browning M2 machine guns in .50 caliber, which made it an exceptionally heavily armed machine. The complete set of eight barrels thus corresponds precisely to its armament.
Cut the plastic barrels off the leading edges, drill the openings out and glue the metal barrels in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a primer. The metal parts can also be soldered if needed.
This is an add-on accessory for a plastic model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
