The set holds a resin figure of a US Air Force fighter pilot together with the ejection seat, designed for models of the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:32 scale. The pilot in modern flying kit with a helmet and a life vest brings a cockpit to life and gives a model a sense of scale. It is made by the Aerobonus brand. This is not a kit of an aircraft but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is among the most widespread modern fighters, with its characteristic reclined ejection seat and bubble canopy. A figure of a pilot rendered in detail therefore heightens the realism of a finished model markedly.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, carefully cut the casting blocks away and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. For modern flying kit, gradual shading, shadowing and fine accenting of the straps and the details of the equipment work well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
