A detail set of turned artillery ammunition in 1:35 scale. It contains scaled-down rounds of 7.5 cm caliber for the Kw.K.42 tank gun (barrel length L/70) and usually also the parts of an ammunition crate. It is a precise accessory for the interior of a combat vehicle or for a diorama, not a stand-alone vehicle kit.
The Pzgr.Patr.39/42 is a fixed round with an armor-piercing shell with a protective and ballistic cap (the Pzgr.39 type). It was the main anti-tank ammunition for the high-velocity 7.5 cm Kw.K.42 gun, which was carried by the Panther medium tank and the Jagdpanzer IV/70 tank destroyer. The long L/70 barrel gave the projectile a high muzzle velocity and good penetrating power at long range.
Wash any mold release agent off the parts and gently clean up the casting remains. Glue the metal projectiles and cases with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The cases are painted in a brass shade, the steel variants in grayish steel, and the projectile black to dark gray with color bands according to the markings. Fine washes and pigments will complete the weathering. Protect your airways while sanding.
