1:35 Arab Rebels / near east 2 Fig.

Evolution Miniatures Arab Rebels / Near East (2 figures) 1:35

This is a resin set of two figures of armed fighters from the setting of a Middle Eastern conflict in 1:35 scale from Evolution Miniatures. It is not a model of military equipment, but standalone figures for rounding out a modern diorama scene.

The subject

The set contains two figures of armed men in the civilian and paramilitary dress typical of a modern Middle Eastern conflict. The figures are treated factually, as characters for a diorama, with no political placement.

Building and painting tips

First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand the mold seams. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer and use acrylics or oils suited to figures: pick the face and the hands out with glazes and the folds of the clothing with a dry brush.
