RPM 1:35 47 mm Pocisk gun is an injection-molded plastic kit of a Polish light infantry support gun of the interwar period. It is a stand-alone model of an artillery piece.

The maker RPM has long devoted itself to Polish interwar equipment and its models tend to be small but finely broken down. The model is a stand-alone artillery piece rather than a vehicle, and it is a rewarding companion to figures and dioramas of the late 1930s.
The gun was created in interwar Poland at the Pocisk ammunition factory in Warsaw as a light infantry support weapon. It was an answer to the demand of the day for a gun that could easily be moved by the strength of its crew while still being effective enough against fortified positions and lightly armored targets. The design was marked by a low weight in the order of hundreds of kilograms and by a semi-automatic breech allowing rapid fire. The weapon remained at the trials and prototype stage and never entered mass service, which makes it an interesting subject and a rare one in the modeling range. The particular version worked out in the kit corresponds to the period prototype form given by the maker.
Small artillery models stand or fall on careful cleaning up. Remove the flash from the carriage and the wheels, fill the mold seams of the shield and check the barrel against the light to see whether it is straight. It is best built in subassemblies: the carriage, the wheels, the shield and the barrel separately, with assembly only after spraying. The base is usually a uniform dark green or gray-green military shade; Polish interwar equipment is also often shown in multicolor camouflage, which can be sprayed over masking putty or with soft transitions. Detail is added by a highlighting wash in the rivets and hinges, fine dry-brushing of the edges and a dust pigment on the wheels. The model looks good on a small diorama with a crew and ammunition boxes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
