Aber metal barrels for British cruiser tanks 1:35 are turned barrels for the 40 mm 2pdr gun and two Besa machine guns for models of the Mk.IIA, A10 Mk.IA and Mk.I A9 tanks.
Responsibility details are not available.
A metal detail accessory for models of the British cruiser tanks Mk.IIA, A10 Mk.IA and Mk.I A9 in 1:35 scale. This is not a kit but a set of precisely turned metal barrels: the barrel of the 40 mm 2pdr (two-pounder) anti-tank gun and two barrels for the Besa machine gun. The metal barrels have the correct wall thickness and a clean muzzle, which is a marked improvement over plastic parts.
The British cruiser tanks of the early phase of the Second World War (the A9, A10 and related types) carried the quick-firing 40 mm 2pdr gun, effective against the armored vehicles of its day, supplemented by a Besa machine gun. It is precisely the slender barrels of the gun and the machine gun that are the visually exposed features of a model.
Metal barrels need no cleaning up of mold seams. For a strong joint, degrease the contact surfaces and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with two-part epoxy. Metal takes paint well once a base coat (primer) has been applied, which ensures the adhesion of the following layers.
This is a metal accessory, not a tank model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
