A photo-etched detail set - the Browning M2 heavy machine gun (Second World War) in 1:35 from Aber. Metal parts for finishing a model of the machine gun faithfully, not a model of its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale, meant for finishing the American Browning M2 heavy machine gun faithfully. It is not a vehicle model of its own but a set of fine metal parts, the barrel cooling jacket, the mount and small fittings, with which you refine the weapon as mounted on vehicles and in positions. The exact content is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The Browning M2 is an American heavy machine gun of 12.7 mm, or .50 caliber, which appeared before the Second World War and is still in use today. During the war it served as both an onboard and an anti-aircraft weapon on the tanks, vehicles, vessels and aircraft of the Allied armies. Its reliability earned it the nickname Ma Deuce.
Separate the small photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, bend them with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The perforated barrel cooling jacket in particular looks markedly more realistic in photo-etched metal than in plastic. Degrease the metal before painting and give it a coat of primer; bring out the metallic sheen with graphite or a dark steel color.
This is a standalone photo-etched accessory for experienced modelers. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
