This is a photo-etched detail and add-on set in 1:35 scale, not a standalone model. The set contains parts for building the rear turret basket on the turret of the British Centurion Mk 5/1 tank. The fine etched metal replaces the coarser plastic version and makes it possible to create a faithful mesh basket for stowing the crew gear.
The rear basket on the turret served the crew for stowing a load, blankets and personal equipment. In photo-etch it comes out substantially thinner and more realistic than in plastic, with the faithful structure of the wire mesh and the frame.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, make the bends along a ruler or in a bender and fix the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer suitable for metal; the basket then takes paint well from an airbrush, and a wash will bring out its mesh structure.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
