The Aber 1:35 photo-etched detail set for the Renault FT-17, vol.1 basic set is a metal accessory for a plastic model of this French light tank. It is not a model but a set of parts for improving one.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine photo-etched brass parts from the Polish maker Aber. It is neither a kit nor a finished model: it is an aftermarket accessory for plastic models of the French Renault FT-17 light tank (the gun-armed version) in 1:35 scale. This is the basic set (vol.1), conceived for all versions of the FT-17. This tank of the First World War is often described as the first modern tank with a rotating turret.
The basic set refines and adds the key external elements: fenders, grab handles, grilles, hatch hinges, tool clasps and other small items. The model thus gains thinner edges and a more faithful breakdown.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and make the bends over a ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy. Degrease the metal before gluing and treat it with a primer for metal before painting.
This is a metal accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
