The second part of the Hungarian series of decals for armored equipment in 1:35 scale. The sheet concentrates on the period Hungarian markings of vehicles of the Toldi I. and Hetzer types. It is not a kit but an accessory for a model already built or under construction. It is made by the Hungarian brand HAD models as a wet, waterslide decal on a clear carrier film.
Base kits usually offer only a few marking schemes. This sheet widens the choice with Hungarian variants and makes it possible to build the same type of vehicle in several guises. The individual designs are cut from the sheet separately, so they can be used piece by piece. Check the contents against the sheet supplied.
Spray the area where the decal is to go with gloss clear coat first, as a matte surface traps air under the film and what is called silvering results. Cut the design out close to the edge of the film, soak it in lukewarm water and let it release from the backing. Transfer it to the dampened place, set it in position and soak the water up with a tissue. On areas with rivets, engraved lines or transitions use a decal softener and let it dry untouched. Finally unify the model with a matte or semi-matte varnish.
A decal sheet is an accessory for a model. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
