British Water Cans 1943 (12 pcs) is a resin set of twelve British water cans in 1:35 scale from GasPatch models. It will serve as an accessory to vehicles and to dioramas of the Second World War period.

This item is not a vehicle kit but a set of diorama accessories. It contains twelve resin castings of British cans intended for drinking water. The castings have faithfully worked shapes of the body, the handle and the closure.
Water cans were an essential part of supplying units in the field. The British pattern differed from fuel cans in shape as well as in marking, so that the contents could not be confused. They were carried on vehicles, on trailers and by hand in rear as well as forward areas.
Before gluing, wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and remove any mold release residue. Separate the castings from the casting blocks, clean the faces up and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Water cans were often painted differently from fuel ones, which helps to tell the contents apart while painting. Realistic weathering comes from a wash and fine dust pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
