Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set from Riich Models in 1:35 scale. It depicts the historic meeting of American and Soviet soldiers on the river Elbe at the close of the Second World War in 1945. The set is intended for dioramas and for vehicles in 1:35 scale.
At the end of April 1945, advancing units of the American and Soviet armies met for the first time near the town of Torgau on the Elbe. The meeting symbolically cut Germany in two and became one of the iconic moments of the end of the war in Europe. The figures depict soldiers of both armies in the uniforms of the period.
Clean up the small parts and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. Use a primer, acrylic paints and fine brushes; the differing uniforms of the two armies are an opportunity for varied painting. Bring out the detail with washes in the folds and with dry-brushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
