A set of 12.8 cm ammunition for the German Sturer Emil self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale from the maker Aber. A detail accessory with faithfully rendered rounds, not a vehicle kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set represents 12.8 cm ammunition for the German heavy self-propelled gun nicknamed Sturer Emil, in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle, nor of its barrel, but a detail accessory with which you bring the interior of the fighting compartment, the ammunition racks or a diorama to life. The rounds are rendered faithfully so as to capture the shape of both the case and the projectile of a large caliber.
Sturer Emil was an experimental German self-propelled gun of the early Second World War, built on a lengthened chassis and armed with a massive gun of 12.8 cm caliber. Only a few were built, and they were committed to action on the Eastern Front. Ammunition of this caliber was among the largest separate-loading tank and anti-tank ammunition of its day.
The individual parts are cleaned of casting residue and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The rounds can be placed loose in the fighting compartment, in boxes, or leaned against the vehicle in a diorama. Degrease the parts before painting; the brass metal sections also come out well after a light polish.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. The base vehicle kit is not included in the package.
