A decal accessory for 1:35 scale aimed at the vehicles operated by the Luftwaffe. It is not a model and not a kit; it is a sheet with which you finish a vehicle already built. According to the name the plates are printed complete with the frame, so the model needs no extra photo-etched or printed part.
The vehicles with air units were a mixed bag - tractors, tankers, workshop trucks, cars and trailers. That is exactly why an airfield scene builds up well: equipment that otherwise has nothing in common comes together in a small area and yet belongs together. A registration plate is the detail that shows that belonging without your having to rebuild anything on the model; with the Luftwaffe the opening of the registration used the designation WL, different from ground forces equipment.
Apply the decal onto gloss varnish and cut it close to the printing. If you are building the vehicle as newly delivered, leave the plate clean and simply give it a matte coat; if it is to be a machine after a season on a field airstrip, work with dust and mud from the lower edge upward. On light camouflage, take care that no air is left under the decal - the dark background of the plate would show through differently from the rest of the surface. Finally unify the surface with matte or satin varnish according to the overall look of the model.
