A basic photo-etched set from Aber in 1:35 scale in brass. It serves to sharpen a plastic model of the German Pz.Kpfw. III medium tank in the Ausf. J and L versions. It is not a model but an accessory that replaces the thick-walled plastic features with thin metal parts.
The Pz.Kpfw. III was one of the main German medium tanks of the first half of the Second World War. The Ausf. J and L versions brought thicker armor and a 50 mm gun; the tank was fielded on most battlefields, including the Eastern Front and North Africa.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and shape the bends on a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. Finish the hull and the turret first, and only then add the fine photo-etched features.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
