German SS Grenadier – Winter 1944 in 1:35 scale — a resin figure of a Waffen-SS grenadier in winter dress from Mantis Miniatures.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure kit in 1:35 scale intended for more experienced modelers. It represents a Waffen-SS grenadier in the winter dress of 1944. The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The winter fighting on the European fronts of 1944 called for matching dress — insulated clothing and, where needed, snow camouflage. The figure captures a grenadier, that is an infantryman, of the Waffen-SS in this winter form, including the equipment of the period.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; do any sanding with protection of the airways. Apply a primer and build the shades up with an airbrush as well as a brush; winter tones and fine weathering will heighten the character of the scene.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
