Sets of this scope hold photo-etched metal parts for the fenders, the brackets and clasps for the tools, the engine compartment covers, details of the side protection and other small fittings of the hull. This is not a kit of a vehicle; it is an accessory that is fitted to a plastic model in 1:35 scale you have already bought.
The light tank destroyer Sd. Kfz. 138/2 came about in the closing stage of the Second World War on a chassis derived from the 38(t) type. It had a low silhouette, steeply sloped frontal armor and a 75 mm anti-tank gun with limited traverse in the front part of the hull. It was relatively cheap and easy to build, thanks to which it was made in large numbers, and after the war it also served in postwar armies. Its compact shape means that every small detail on the hull is clearly visible.
Work block by block according to the instructions: remove the plastic originals, level the surfaces, and only then glue the metal on. Separate the photo-etched parts with a scalpel on a hard surface, make the bends in a bending tool and hold small pieces with tweezers. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) onto degreased surfaces. Before painting, spray the whole model with a primer. On late German schemes a dark wash in the joints and fine dust pigments on the running gear look good.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is a detail accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
