German tool clamps, the early type up to 1943 is a photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale, a new release for true tool holders on German vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model but a photo-etched metal detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale, offered as a new release. It holds a set of holders, clasps and tool clamps of the earlier type, of the kind used on German armored vehicles roughly up to 1943. They replace the coarse plastic clamps and make it possible to attach shovels, picks, crowbars or pipe wrenches with realistic clasps.
German combat and supply vehicles of the Second World War carried a set of pioneer and maintenance tools on the fenders and the sides of the hull, held by standardized metal clasps. The early type of clamp had different shapes and catches from the later form introduced from 1943.
Separate the small clasps with a sharp knife and make the bends over a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; the working catches can be left movable for a truer look. Apply a metal primer before painting.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The tools, the kit and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
