German heavy type jacks, Second World War in 1:35 scale from Aber. A metal detail set, not a model of its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A metal detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber for a faithful rendering of German heavy type mechanical jacks of the Second World War, in 1:35 scale. It is a miniature accessory of a kind commonly fixed to the fenders and hulls of armored vehicles as part of the standard tool stowage.
Heavy mechanical jacks were part of the basic tool kit of German armor and served to lift a vehicle when repairing the running gear or changing parts. A faithfully rendered jack brings the surface of a model of a tank, a self-propelled gun or a truck to life.
Separate the small parts carefully with a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the jack with an airbrush or a brush, pick out the metal parts by drybrushing and add rust and grease with washes and pigments so that it looks used.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
