A plastic kit of the Bücker Bü 131D In Fliegerschulen in 1:72 scale from RS Models — the German Jungmann training biplane in a flying school finish.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light training biplane Bücker Bü 131D Jungmann in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS Models. The In Fliegerschulen edition (at the flying schools) concentrates on machines used during the Second World War for basic and continuation pilot training. The package holds decals for several color and marking variants of training units.
The Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann is a German single-engine biplane with a two-seat open cockpit, which first flew in 1934. The D version was the most widespread and became the standard basic trainer of the Luftwaffe; besides training, a smaller number of machines was also used for auxiliary and night tasks. Thanks to its excellent handling the Jungmann also made its name in aerobatics and was built under license in a number of countries, and airworthy examples still fly today.
It is a short-run kit that will reward a more experienced hand: we recommend cleaning up the molding edges of the parts, dry fitting the joints and gluing with liquid cement for plastic. The struts and bracing of the biplane call for patience; an airbrush, a good undercoat and finally the bracing wires all pay off. Apply a gloss clear coat before the decals, and a flat coat over them will even out the final surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
