1:35 K-4386 TYPHOON-V DV PAINTING MASK (MENG)

K-4386 Typhoon-VDV painting mask in 1:35 scale (SX-Art)

This is a set of machine-cut self-adhesive masks from the maker SX-Art for models of the Russian K-4386 Typhoon-VDV wheeled armored vehicle in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit and not parts of a model, but an aid for painting: the templates delimit the areas so that you lay down sharp color transitions and markings with an airbrush without laborious taping up. Dimensionally it follows the Meng kit.

Use

• You peel the individual templates off and stick them onto the dried base color, then spray another shade over.
• It helps with the sharp edges of a camouflage scheme and with the small markings where tape would let the paint creep.
• Apply it to a smooth, perfectly dried base and spray the paint in thin coats.
• Take the mask off soon after spraying, before the paint hardens completely, so that it does not tear the edge.

Who it is for

For modelers of military subjects who want to speed the masking up and reach clean lines. A corresponding base model in the same scale is assumed.

This is an accessory for painting, not a model. Paints, varnish and a kit are not included in the package.
