Kastanien Holz decals 1:35, an imitation of chestnut wood from MAiM

A set of water-slide decals from MAiM with a faithful chestnut wood texture in 1:35 scale. The decals make it possible to give planks, floors, boxes, furniture and other diorama elements a wooden look quickly and without painting. The realistic drawing of the growth rings and of the grain creates the impression of real chestnut wood on smooth as well as slightly contoured surfaces. This is a set of decals, not a model.

Use

• A quick imitation of chestnut wood on planks, floors and furniture
• A wooden look for boxes, pallets and other props without painting
• Suited to the interiors and exteriors of dioramas in 1:35 scale
• Combines with a patina and washes for a more faithful surface

Application

Cut the decal out, dip it in water for a moment, slide it onto the surface and press it down gently. For perfect adhesion on a contoured surface use a decal softener; finally protect the surface with a matte varnish.
