A set of wooden boxes in 1:35 scale intended as cargo and a scenic accessory. According to the name it holds seven pieces. It is not a model of a vehicle and not a kit, but a separate accessory with which to fill the bed of a truck, a trailer, a store or the corner of a diorama. The parts are laser cut from thin wood, so once assembled they have the real grain of wood that a plastic casting only imitates.
A wooden box made of laser cut parts has a natural texture on its edges and over its surface, and in 1:35 scale that shows above all once a stain or thinned paint has been applied. Whereas on plastic the texture is painted, here you only bring out what is already in the material. Cut parts also have accurate dimensions and true right angles, so an assembled box has no gaps that would need filling.
Carefully break the parts out of the sheet and level the remains of the tabs with fine abrasive paper. They are glued with PVA wood glue or with thin cyanoacrylate glue, which soaks into the wood; use the glue sparingly, as a surplus closes the pores and the paint then does not hold evenly. Wood is absorbent, so paint with heavily thinned acrylics or with oil paints in several layers and let the base show through. Lettering and markings are added with a decal, weathering with pigments and a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
