A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale. The pre-cut masks help you separate the rubber tire casings cleanly from the rims, so that the paint creates a crisp transition without laborious covering up. This is an accessory which is applied to the parts of the base kit, not a model in its own right; the kit has to be obtained separately.
The M-1097 A2 Cargo Carrier is the cargo variant of the American family of light off-road vehicles HMMWV, known by the nickname Humvee. It is a four-wheeled vehicle with all-wheel drive which serves to carry cargo as well as troops and is the basis of a number of further purpose-built forms. The vehicle is widely deployed with armed forces from the end of the twentieth century.
Stick the masks onto cleaned and degreased tires, press the edges down carefully and apply the paint in thin coats. Once dry, take the masks off. For a faithful look, a matte black-gray rubber of the tires separated from the color of the rims works well.
