A 1:35 masking set for the Magach 6B Gal Batash tank from SX-Art covers the optics, vision ports and lights of the model while it is painted. It helps above all where a single desert shade is sprayed.

This is an accessory for painting a finished model, not a kit. The set holds pre-cut masks for the model of the Israeli Magach 6B Gal Batash tank in 1:35 scale and is used so that the optics, the vision ports and the lights come out of painting clean and with a sharp edge.
The Magach 6B Gal Batash is an Israeli modernization of the M60 tank with add-on armor modules on the turret and the hull, a reworked commander's cupola and a rearranged layout of the optics. The armor blocks create narrow slots and steps around the vision ports in which tape does not hold. On top of that comes the commander's cupola with its ring of small vision ports, where masking by hand would take longer than painting the whole hull.
With a single desert shade the order is straightforward: stick the masks onto an assembled and degreased model, spray over them with primer and the base shade and let it dry. The difference against multi-tone camouflage is that the model is modeled with light and shade, that is, with lightened coats on the panels and darker shading in the seams. All of those coats go on over the mask. Take it off only after the last varnish and after the weathering, so that neither pigment nor wash gets onto the optics, from where it could no longer be removed from a clear surface without a trace.
The package holds masking material only. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
