These are figures in 1:35 scale, listed under the name ON THE HUNT 1944. The year in the designation refers to 1944; who is depicted on the figures and what scene the set captures is described on the packaging and in the manufacturer's instructions. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread one for figures to go with military vehicles, and an adult figure comes out roughly five centimeters tall in it. It therefore suits models of tanks and of armored and cargo vehicles built in the same scale.
A vehicle model on its own gives nothing away about how big it is. As soon as a figure stands beside it, the scale makes sense and the viewer translates it into reality at once.
