This accessory faithfully reproduces the look of a period German army blanket and is printed on quality paper in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a ready-made paper element that will add a realistic textile detail to a scene. The pattern of the cloth and its wear are printed so that, once cut out and arranged, they come across as a real blanket.
You will use the blanket thrown over a bunk, a bench, the seat of a vehicle or rolled up beside a soldier's kit. It livens up billets, field scenes and the interiors of machinery and gives figures a human dimension.
The paper can be dampened slightly, so that it can be formed into soft folds, and fixed once dry with thin glue. Gently bringing out the shadows in the folds with pastel or a thin wash will deepen the impression of cloth.
The accessory is supplied as a printed paper sheet to be cut out. Paints, glue and a model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
