This detail set replaces the exhaust nozzle of the Israeli IAI Kfir fighter in the C2, C7 and F-21 versions in 1:48 scale. It combines fine resin castings with a photo-etched flame holder, so it is a small multimedia set. It is not a kit but an accessory for a finished model.
It includes the super-detailed nozzle, the inner augmenter tube and the outer aerodynamic fairing segments, together with a photo-etched part for the flame holder section. The result is a faithful rendering of the tail end of the J79 engine.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut them from the casting blocks, and bend the photo-etched part according to the drawing. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and sand with respiratory protection. The inside of the nozzle is best painted in metallic shades with traces of heat discoloration.
A detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
