An injection-molded plastic kit of the German 3.7 cm PaK 35/36 anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. Besides the gun itself the set also contains figures of the gun crew, so once it is assembled you get a complete scene ready to be placed in a diorama or on a base of its own.
The 3.7 cm PaK 35/36 was a light German anti-tank gun that formed the backbone of the Wehrmacht anti-tank defense at the beginning of the Second World War. It was small, low and light, a few men could handle it easily and it was simple to camouflage. Against well armored targets it soon proved inadequate, however, which earned it the mocking nickname of the door knocker. Even so it stayed in service through the whole first half of the war.
Work in subassemblies and use thin cement for plastic. Finish and paint the carriage, the shield and the wheels separately, and only then join the whole together. Apply a primer before painting and lay the paints down with an airbrush. The small parts and the crew figures deserve careful cleaning of the mold seams. You will create the patina with dark washes into the recesses and fine dust pigments on the lower part of the carriage and on the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
