This is a complete detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber, not a model of a tank. The package joins fine photo-etched frets with turned metal parts and wire sections for a model of the German heavy tank Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf.E (Sd.Kfz.181) Tiger I in the late production form. With the metal you replace the radiator grilles, the fenders, the tool brackets, the mounts for spare track links and other small fittings of the hull and the turret.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with an 88 mm gun. Late production vehicles from 1944 received steel road wheels without a rubber tire, a one-piece commander's cupola with periscopes and a number of simplified details. Its heavy armor and accurate gunnery made it a feared opponent; the price was a high weight and demanding maintenance.
Trim the parts off the fret with a sharp knife, bend them on a photo-etch bending tool or along a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal and go over it with a primer. Deal with the detailing of the grilles and the fenders before the hull is closed, and work by subassemblies.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
