A photo-etched metal detail set of rear boxes for the German Panther Ausf.G medium tank and the Jagdpanther tank destroyer in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Aber. The set matches the form produced from April 1944 at the M.N.H. plant. It faithfully reproduces the thin-walled sheet-metal boxes with their hinges and brackets. This is an accessory, not a model.
The Panther Ausf.G and the Jagdpanther built on its chassis were among the most capable German combat vehicles of the late war. The details of the rear boxes differed according to the maker of the hull and the production period.
Nip the parts out of the photo-etched fret and clean them up, make the bends on a bending tool or along the scored lines, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a coat of primer for adhesion. Make the sharp bends on a bending tool and match the hinges of the boxes to the shape of the rear hull plate.
