Large rear fuel tanks for the T-34/76 is a photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale for sharpening the rear auxiliary tanks of the Soviet medium tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a tank model but a photo-etched metal detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. The set serves to replace and sharpen the large rear auxiliary fuel tanks on a plastic model of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank. The photo-etched parts give the tanks true walls, securing straps and brackets that coarser plastic moldings cannot reach.
The T-34/76 was a Soviet medium tank of the Second World War, famous for its sloped armor, wide tracks and reliability. Both cylindrical and boxy auxiliary fuel tanks at the rear and along the sides extended its range and are a prominent recognition feature of the vehicle.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a cutting surface and make the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or a two-part epoxy resin for attaching them. Degrease before painting and apply a primer suitable for metal; the tanks will then take realistic mud effects and pigments.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
