A plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Bronco. It represents the Soviet military truck ZIL-131 in the V version, which was a tractor for semi-trailers and towed equipment. Besides the plastic parts the kit contains photo-etched parts and a decal sheet. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The ZIL-131 was a Soviet military truck with all-wheel drive in a 6x6 layout, introduced from the end of the 1960s. It served in enormous numbers across the armies of the Eastern Bloc. The V version was a tractor used, among other things, to move trailers carrying the missiles of the S-75 anti-aircraft system. Its rugged chassis and simple cab made it a reliable workhorse.
First assemble and paint the chassis, the axles and the engine, and only then close up the cab and the frame. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. For military patina, filters, washes and pigments imitating mud and dust on the wheels and in the wheel arches work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
