The Aber 1:35 photo-etched detail set for the Schwimmwagen Type 166 is a metal accessory for a plastic model of this German amphibious car. It is not a model but a set of parts to upgrade one.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine photo-etched brass parts from the Polish maker Aber. It is not a kit or a finished model — it is an aftermarket accessory for 1:35 plastic models of the German Schwimmwagen Type 166 amphibious car. This floating off-road vehicle had a swing-down propeller at the stern and was used for reconnaissance and for crossing water obstacles.
The photo-etch lets you refine and add tie-downs, grab handles, grilles, hinges, tool clamps, propeller parts and other small details. The resulting surface is more articulated and closer to the real vehicle.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and make the bends over a ruler or in a photo-etch bender. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. Degrease the metal before gluing and treat it with a metal primer before painting.
This is a metal accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
