An add-on photo-etched set from Aber in 1:35 scale in brass, focused on the fenders of the Soviet JS-2 heavy tank. It is not a model but an accessory for a plastic kit; the thin metal fenders replace the thick-walled plastic parts and let you suggest sagging and damage faithfully.
The JS-2, the Iosif Stalin 2, was a Soviet heavy tank from the second half of the Second World War. It carried a 122 mm gun and thick armor and was meant to break through fortified German defenses.
Separate the photo-etched fenders with a sharp knife and shape them on a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and prime it. The set usually follows on from the basic photo-etched set for the same tank.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
