This is an aftermarket detail set, not a vehicle model. The package contains braided metal tow cables with resin eyes in the Heavy Type II configuration, with which you replace the plastic parts of a kit and give a model of a heavy Soviet tank or self-propelled gun a realistic look.
The Heavy Type II configuration corresponds to the tow cables used on Soviet heavy tanks and self-propelled guns in the late phase of the Second World War and in the postwar period. These robust cables served to recover heavy vehicles and tended to be secured on the hull.
Form the metal wire rope into a natural sag following the brackets on the hull and glue the eyes with cyanoacrylate. Before painting, degrease the whole assembly, apply a base coat and accentuate the texture of the braiding with a dark wash and light weathering.
