A resin collector figure, Survivors! with an axe and a crowbar, in 1:35 scale from MAiM. A genre post-apocalyptic character to glue and paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin collector figure in 1:35 scale made by MAiM from the genre survivors range. The figure captures a character armed with an axe and a crowbar in a post-apocalyptic treatment and is meant for more experienced figure painters to assemble, paint and use to bring dioramas to life. The exact package contents are not stated here.
The subject comes out of the popular post-apocalyptic genre known from movies, comics and games, where survivors face a ruined world with improvised tools instead of weapons. An axe and a crowbar are typical of such scenes. It is the manufacturer's own genre treatment, not an officially licensed subject of any particular brand.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, ideally with an airbrush. For a faithful post-apocalyptic look, worn clothing, washes in the folds and a light dry brush on the edges of the tools work well.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
