The injection-molded plastic figure set U.S. Army Infantry in 1:35 scale from Tamiya - four American infantry figures of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of four American infantry figures in 1:35 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya. The soldiers are captured in action poses - among others throwing a grenade, cocking a weapon and carrying a flamethrower. The set serves to bring dioramas to life or to be displayed on its own, and it is compatible with other Tamiya kits in 1:35 scale.
The set represents American infantrymen deployed in Western Europe after the Normandy landings of 1944. The soldiers carry the typical infantry weapons and equipment of the US Army - rifles and small arms, grenades and an entrenching tool. One of the soldiers operates a flamethrower, which was used against fortified positions.
Cut the small parts carefully from the sprues, fit them with liquid polystyrene cement and clean up the mold seams. Apply a primer before painting. Shade and highlight the faces and hands, and bring out the olive drab uniform with drybrushing and a light wash. Finish the equipment, the weapons and the flamethrower tank last.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
