Framed pictures with jets on the ground: a set of five wall miniatures from MAiM in the universal 1:35 scale for aviation-themed diorama interiors.
Responsibility details are not available.
Five miniature wall pictures with motifs of jet aircraft parked on the ground, complete with frames. The MAiM set is listed in a universal scale based on 1:35, because a picture on a wall has no fixed size, so you can confidently fit it into an interior in 1:32 or 1:48 as well.
Where aircraft in the air evoke the dream of flying, machines on the ramp belong to the people who work around them, so the set suits the changing room of ground crew, the office of a squadron engineer, the control room of a small airfield or the corridor of an aviation museum. It also works nicely in the civilian apartment of an aviation enthusiast. The same range also holds a sister set with aircraft in flight, and combining the two creates a richer gallery on a single theme.
Match the frames in one color if you are building an official space, because an office or a museum takes strict order and equal spacing. For a private interior, choose different shades of frame and an irregular layout instead. Protect the motifs with satin clear as a substitute for glass, and when sticking them to a wall mark the position out in advance with a soft pencil; setting one picture slightly askew pleasantly humanizes the scene.
The set is meant for fitting into the interior of a diorama; with the frames, count on cleaning up and painting if necessary. The manufacturer does not state the exact dimensions.
