An add-on photo-etched set (vol. 3) in 1:35 scale with fenders for the American M-10 tank destroyer. It is neither a vehicle model nor a complete kit, but a collection of fine photo-etched metal parts that replace the coarser plastic fenders with metal of true scale thickness. The metal fenders can also be realistically bent or damaged after period photographs.
The M-10 was an American tank destroyer on the Sherman chassis with an open rotating turret. The fenders over the tracks were among the features that often bent and broke off in the field, so a metal version allows wear and combat service to be shown faithfully.
Separate the photo-etched fenders, add realistic dents if you wish and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease before painting and apply a primer; pick out the edges and the damage with a drybrush, and build mud and dust effects with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
