It is a finished diorama accessory representing a ventilation shaft or an air-handling outlet of the kind found on the facades of buildings, in walls and in underground spaces. It is not a kit or a figure. The resin casting has to be cleaned up and painted before use.
A ventilation shaft will round out an industrial or urban scene, a factory interior, a cellar, a tunnel or the facade of a building. It is an unobtrusive but functional detail that gives a view a technical character and depth. The medium version suits places where the vent is meant to be a more telling element.
Wash the mold release residue off the part and cut off the casting block. Use super glue or putty to set it into a wall or a facade. Bring the surface to life with a metal or plaster base, traces of rust, pick the grille out with a dry brush and add pigments for settled dust.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
