A diorama accessory in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Eureka XXL. It is NOT a model; it is a set of cast resin wooden ammunition boxes for the long 88 mm gun Kw.K.43 L/71. The boxes faithfully capture the period crates with their fittings.
The 8.8 cm Kw.K.43 L/71 gun was carried by the heaviest German vehicles, for example the Tiger II and tank destroyers on a similar basis. The bulky rounds were carried in massive wooden boxes with markings for quickly telling the type of ammunition apart; they piled up at firing positions and are among the details of dioramas with heavy vehicles.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. Bring out the wood grain with glazes, a wash and dry-brushing, and set the metal fittings apart with steel and rust.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
