This accessory brings a turned metal barrel for the StuH 43 howitzer of 150 mm caliber for the early form of the German Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär assault gun in 1:35 scale. It is not a stand-alone model of the vehicle but a detail part that replaces the plastic barrel from the kit with a precise metal one with a faithful muzzle.
The Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär was a German tracked assault gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the Panzer IV tank. It carried a short howitzer of the large 150 mm caliber intended for fire support and for fighting in built-up areas. The early form differed from the later ones in a number of details of the hull and the superstructure.
Clean any machining residue off the metal barrel, clean up the seating face and glue it on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting we recommend giving the metal a base coat (a primer) and then painting it to match the rest of the model; the muzzle can be brought out with a fine wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
