The display board is made of acrylic three millimeters thick and carries a printed racing track surface. The 410 x 270 millimeter format corresponds, converted at 1:24 scale, to an area of roughly 9.8 by 6.5 meters of real asphalt, so three cars stand on it side by side with the sort of spacing they tend to have between them in a corner.
The customer gets a single finished piece. The board comes printed, trimmed to its final shape and with a weight of 410 grams of its own, which gives it enough stability even without an added frame. It is not glued, not sanded and needs no coat of paint. The vehicles are simply arranged on it, or secured underneath with double-sided tape.
The target group is builders of car models in one of the most common collector's reductions. It comes into its own wherever a finished group of cars from one series has no common stage on which they can be shown together instead of on three separate stands. The hard glossy surface also reflects light in a similar way to a wet track surface, which benefits a photograph of a model.
A width of 410 millimeters is reserved by the manufacturer for larger scenes. Narrower boards usually offer room for a single car stood lengthways, whereas this surface allows the relationship between the vehicles to be played out, that is overtaking, a fight for the line or three cars entering a corner. That turns the display board into a storytelling element rather than just a stand.
This is a display item sold without the cars and without any figures or surrounding accessories. Arranging the cars and adding cones, signs or crews is left to the owner and is part of what makes the resulting scene distinctive.
