Responsibility details are not available.
The American counterpart of the stylized Tori Factory figure line in 1:35 scale. The figures are rendered as a tank crew in the equipment of the US Army of the Second World War, but instead of human heads they have buffalo ones. The set is listed as version A. Within the whole line it is the counterpart to the German sets, so two sides of one humorously conceived scene can easily be built.
The figures are meant to complete a model of American armored hardware in 1:35 scale, whether as a crew in the turret, as figures on the hull or as a group beside the vehicle. The vehicle model and a terrain base are not included in the package. On American tanks the hatches tend to differ in shape from German ones, so always try the figures dry before gluing and adjust the seating if necessary.
First wash the castings and clean up the parting lines, or the burrs will show as soon as the base color goes on. The American field uniform rests on olive and khaki shades, which look flat on their own, so it pays to bring them to life: a base, a dark wash into the folds, a lighter dry brush on the edges and a fine dusting of pigment on the boots and the trouser legs. A buffalo head has dark fur and horns, where a contrast between matte fur and a slightly glossy horn works well; a coat of satin varnish over the horn is enough. Build the skin around the muzzle in two or three layers so that it does not read as a single field of color. Finally even the whole figure out with a matte varnish.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The vehicle model, glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
