A resin kit of the British submarine HMS M2 in 1:350 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP. The package holds resin parts, photo-etched parts and decals; the model builds as a waterline model. Intended for more advanced modelers.
HMS M2 came about by conversion from an original M class gun submarine. The gun turret was replaced by a watertight hangar with a small reconnaissance aircraft and a catapult, and the boat thus became one of the first submarine aircraft carriers. It served in the interwar period with the Royal Navy.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fit the fine photo-etched elements after the base painting; the model is best fixed to a base or into the water surface of a diorama.
The model is supplied as an unassembled resin kit with photo-etched parts. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
