A set of turned metal barrels for a model of the Japanese heavy cruiser IJN Mogami as she was in 1942, when the ship had been rearmed to the main 20 cm caliber. It contains barrels of 20 cm caliber (6 pieces) and anti-aircraft barrels of 12.7 cm caliber (8 pieces), 14 pieces in all.
The metal barrels are sharp and dimensionally accurate and, unlike plastic, they do not distort. Fitting is simple: you cut off the original plastic barrel, drill a hole in what remains of the part and glue the metal barrel in.
The set is intended for more experienced modelers who want to raise the realism of the armament of their model considerably.
