A set of miniature aircraft in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. In the package you will find six examples of the Italian Reggiane Re.2000 fighter, molded in clear plastic, together with decals. It is not a stand-alone aircraft model but an accessory for populating the catapults and decks of models of Italian warships in the same scale. The tiny clear parts make it possible to complete a shipboard flight realistically.
The Reggiane Re.2000 Falco I was an Italian all-metal low-wing monoplane with a radial engine and retractable landing gear, used in the first part of the Second World War. Besides land-based service, some of the machines were adapted for catapult launching from the surface ships of the Regia Marina, where they served as fighter cover. The machine stood out for its good agility and range.
The parts are very small, so tweezers and a steady hand come in useful. Once separated from the gates, glue them with a tiny amount of cyanoacrylate. Spray the clear plastic with a base coat and apply the paint in thin layers so that the fine engraved detail is preserved. Apply the decals over a gloss base. Place the finished models on the decks or the catapults of ship models.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
