Aber 1:350 – turned barrels for the German cruiser Prinz Eugen is a detail set of turned metal naval gun barrels for refining a model of a German heavy cruiser in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains turned metal naval gun barrels intended to replace the plastic parts on a model of a German heavy cruiser in 1:350 scale. It is not a model of a ship but an accessory to a kit you already own. It is made by the Polish company Aber, a specialist in turned and photo-etched metal details.
Prinz Eugen was a German heavy cruiser put into action during the Second World War; she is best known for her part alongside the battleship Bismarck. Heavy cruisers carried guns of the main caliber as well as a numerous anti-aircraft armament.
Cut the turned barrels off the leftover stub, clean them up and fit them in place of the plastic parts. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for gluing. Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer.
This is a supplementary turned set, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
